Subject: Domain name Change
Due to a recent letter from Wiley Publishing, Inc. regarding our domainname Datafordummies.com, we will be transitioning all our hosting services to our sister site Hostcrew.com. We apologize to our loyal customers for any confusion. We will keep every one up to date on any further changes.
We have been in business since 1998 and using the domain name datafordummies.com, however recently we have been told we cant use the phrase FOR DUMMIES®, We regret the loss of the use of this domain since we clearly did not use the phrase in our site EVER! however we know when to bow down and protect our existing customers and that is why we are changing without a fight. Its about you not us and we are going to transition with out down time.
Feel free to post your comments on our BBoard

Subject: Update to failed email (Telus Customers)
This email is to all customers using Telus as there internet service provider.
Please Disregard this email if you are not on Telus High speed..
If you are on Telus Dialup Keep this email as it will soon apply to you as well.
We have had several complaints regarding mail failing to send and have found
the problem to be with telus.
They have a new policy which has blocked port 25 (Your outgoing mail). We have
tried to reason with them to lift the block but they refuse to do this as they think
it will cut down on spam. Yea I know makes no sense. They say you must either
upgrade to a business package or use their mail services.
We have made our own solution for those customers. If you are able to receive
mail but not able to send you can now switch to port 26. and continue to use
your own mail services on your domain.
You can do this by going to your tools menu >> Accounts >> Click on your
mail account and select the Advanced tab. You will se the port number for
outgoing mail. Change this from 25 to 26 and
Apply the settings.
If you have any questions don\'t hesitate to contact us and we will help you
with your settings.
Also don\'t forget to call telus and thank them.
P.S don\'t tell them about our fix :)
